And no, I'm not talking about the deliciously nasty food chain that stays open 'till 4:30 am. I'm talking about the cookout that I had tonight at my place. It was fun times. Hannah is the cooking guru. And I'm her sous-chef. :D Me, Mom, Steven, Ashley, Matthew, Hannah, and Dale. Fun times. Better than Nathan Fillion cake! If you haven't read in my previous posts, I'm pretty excited about moving. I'll actually be in a decently-sized town. I'll be a lot closer to the interstate and to work. And I'll be closer to people! Well, except Steven. That bastard's moving right across the street from where I live now! I will also, again, be far away from Teej, as she's moving not far from where I live now as well. What the fuck is up with all of these Carrboro emigrants? Alas, I shall sleep.

I have a lot of shit

And no, I'm not talking about the stuff that occasionally decides to exit my asshole. Moving is so depressing, but exciting. I hate packing. I hate manual labour. And I hate stupid spell checks that try to tell me that the British (correct) way of spelling things is wrong. Fuck you, squiggly red line. I love the song "No Children" by the Mountain Goats. It's funny, poignant, angry, lovely, sad al mismo tiempo. I'm excited about having my big tv and dvd player in my own room. I'm looking forward to not living in Carrboro. As if i didn't mention it previously, I HATE moving. Thank the Lord for friends and their dad's cars. I'm going to bed now. My mom will be waking me up shortly. Yes, she's staying with me for a few days. It's good having her here. Her and her SUV. Her and her OHMYGODITCOSTME65DOLLARSTOFILLUPHERFUCKINGCAR SUV. OK, not sleep for real.

Moooooving

So here's a little catch-up on my life.
I went to Robbinsville. Met some awesome people. I finally went to Tennessee- Knoxville to be exact! Saw "Ironman" again. Popcooooorn!!!!

I have some awesome Converses. Kurt Cobain ones. I know he's rolling in his grave right now.

My mom's here visiting. Decent meals hooray! My mom's watching the "we" channel. Bullet to the head. Spaghetti and meatballs tonight. I swear if I have to watch 5 more mins of Bridezilla, I'm going shoot someone. haha

I'm moving in with Dale. Maybe as soon as next week? Back at Foxcroft. I'm excited.

I've got my DVDs packed, and some of my books. I don't work till Thursday. Yay.

Went to a whoretastic party last night. Way too confident guy trying to ask me out. Cracker don't think so. You don't grab my hair and touch my face and expect a number. Luckily Dale was ready to go too. Flight of the conchords! I'll never think of David Bowie the same way again.

I'm worried about Deej. Cracker has a lot on his plate. I wish the world for him.

So today I worked at McDonalds. No joke. I made fries and occasionally got an order together for drive-thru. It was so much fun! I'm still donning my Micky D's shirt. It's all covered in grease and fantasticness. I now know how to make McDonald's fries. I now realize that McDonalds employees aren't given nearly enough credit. It's a lot of work! And closing!? Wow...I thought our closing at Seattle's Best was bad....we ain't got nutin on those McDonalds peeps! It was so much fun working with Teej and Lisa. Those girls...I tell ya. They're so smart and quirky. DJ is a trip, really nice, quiet. Kevin, great directions! It is so beautiful up here, Teej's grandparents hae so much land here, and it's being used for such awesome things. Mmmm 3 hour old chicken tenders. "That's the happiest choking guy I've ever seen." McDonalds is the shit. We swam in the lake today which is probably the first time I have swam in a lake. Silly city girl and her pools.

The last two times I have been to church, it has been with Teej. And each time, we've been disrupting the service with our laughter.

I only worked at McDonalds for 3 hours (+2 hours of attempting to help them close) but MAN am I tired! I think I will put on my py-jay-jays and call it a night. Tomorrow we're going to Murphy with Lisa to get her nose pierced. I might be tempted to get something else pierced. Maybe I'll finally get that industrial that I wanted. Or maybe something weird that is not on my face (work).

Teej and Lisa Can Sleep Through Anything

Seriously though, this house is full of people eating breakfast and carrying on, and Teej and Lisa are sound asleep! Lisa's alarm just went off, some Fergie song I think, and yep, aaaaaaaaaaasleep. I'm surrounded by animal skins. Very cool place. When I look out the window I can just see a haze of mountains behind the trees. Lots of SUV's. These people actually use them. Teej's boss said I could work at McDonalds on Monday-- I wonder if I can put that on my rèsumé haha

I think I'm going to go brush my teeth now.

No work today indeed! And tomorrow, after I get off work at 7, I'm heading to the mountains to see Teej!! and Lisa! :D Fun couple of days ahead of me.

Work 6-11 tonight. I got the 17th off, so I can go to see Teej in the mtns! Fun times indeed. Greatly looking forward to it. Got another letter from the stupid people about the rent that we've already paid. God those people have problems! Currently watching "Wilde" but am soon going to bed. Work tomorrow on the floor 12-6. Funnnnn times. I've started reading "Che" (duh). It's good. He's crazy.

Firefly Marathon!

I've been watching "Firefly" for the last couple of days. It still makes me so mad when Jayne betrays them all on Ariel.

....is pretty boring. But I got to see my Catherinepoo and her Anthonypoo tonight! But no Kat-poo...sad times. But I shall see them all (and then some!) tomorrow night! Gotta love "starbucks nights". Should I or shouldn't I? YAY Kat just IM'd me. But apparently, I'm heading over to Kat's soon. I missed zombie night :(.
